Tools I Use: Prong Collar

In this series of videos I will be explaining the training tools I use when working with dogs. I will explain what the tool is, how it works, and most importantly, why I use it. My goal in producing these videos is to give you all a better understanding of my process, so you can better judge if I am the right trainer for you.
This video covers the prong collar. The prong collar is my collar of choice because it is effective. I use it almost immediately when I work with a dog. The power of using the tool to communicate with the dog using pressure is just too effective to not use. The tool alone stops most dogs from pulling almost immediately and once you pair that with proper leash handling you have unlocked the formula for the most enjoyable walks you will ever take with your dog.
